About Us

The special needs program is a percussion group for students with disabilities. TBC partners with Friends of Children With Special Needs to host weekly rehearsals at their facility. The special needs program performs at NCBA shows. The special needs program’s goals include providing opportunities to disadvantaged students, promoting community awareness and stereotyping by recognizing individuals with special needs, developing music and rhythmic abilities, developing hand-eye coordination and fine & gross motor abilities, promoting self-esteem, building teamwork skills, developing innate abilities and talent to reach for the stars and much more. The Tri-City Special Needs Percussion Regiment was the brain child of Annie Wen, CEO of TBC, and founded in 2018.
