Current Officer Board

Tri-City Band Corps is a student run organization, therefore a squad of student officers are required to keep TBC afloat. They work year round to plan parades, fundraisers, run rehearsals, and spread their love for music. Below are the current officers for 2020 - 2021 and their positions.

Individual Job Descriptions

Executive Department

Click to learn more!

The Executive Team oversees the five departments within Tri-City Band Corps: Supply, Music, Finance, Operations, and Technology. The Executive Team is responsible for all aspects of Tri-City Band Corps, which includes: managing the officer board, distributing and following up on tasks, organizing all Cadet Regiment members and events which include rehearsals and parade performances, filing legal paperwork, contacting and communicating with sponsors and alumni, interviewing members for acceptance onto the officer board, implementing developmental activities for the officers, dealing with unexpected emergencies, and most importantly, maintaining a clear vision of the future of TBC and setting goals that will lead the organization towards achieving that dream.

Technology Department

The Technology Department is in charge of managing the website, app, social media posts, Salesforce, and marketing flyers. The department is responsible for keeping the website up to date and posting on social media weekly. It is also in charge of updating Salesforce with member information and sending out mass emails. The marketing is in charge of creating flyers for advertising our events or programs. In short, it is responsible for all technological aspects of the group.

Music Department

Click to learn more!

The Music Department takes care of the artistic aspects of TBC's performances. It has three main tasks: running rehearsals, choosing music to play, and maintaining the music library. With maintaining the music library and choosing performance repertoire comes preparing music for parades and storing crates of music. Leading rehearsals is the most important job of Music, as TBC members often approach the Chief Musical Director or Guard and Drum Captains first if they have questions. For this reason, former CEO Sara Tsai said that the Chief Musical Director is the "face of the group."

Supply Department

Click to learn more!

The Supply Department is in charge of all the necessary equipment that TBC owns. The department deals with the 150+ uniforms, repairing ones that are damaged and taking stock of the current numbers of uniform parts when necessary. The department is also responsible for buying new uniform parts when needed and planning uniform distribution/collection logistics during each parade season. They also manage the percussion equipment that TBC owns; they are in charge of storing/maintaining percussion and ordering replacement parts. During parade season, this department is vital in the transportation of equipment to rehearsals and parades.

Operation Department

Click to learn more!

The Operations Department takes care of managing recruitment, officer bondings, and regulating officer benefits, health, and safety. The department is also responsible for planning bonding events, organizing carpools and buses for performances, registering for parades, and managing service hours. Recruiting members is an important job of the Operations department, as it is how the organization grows. In addition, it is also responsible for sending out quarterly newsletters to keep members updated about TBC's recent activities.

Finance Department

Click to learn more!

The Finance Department, as the title suggests, takes charge of all financial aspects in TBC, focusing mainly on small-scale fundraisers, large scale events and feeds, and applying for grants. Our goal is to ensure that TBC is on stable financial ground. To accomplish this, we set up many restaurant fundraisers and run our own large events (most notably, Festival of Arts and Pasta Feed). Long story short, we’re the ones planning and executing each of these events--almost impossible, but at the same time quite rewarding!

Executive Department

Annie Wen

Chief Executive Officer

Annie Wen is a senior at Irvington High School. She started flute in 4th grade. She has been with TBC for 5 years. She enjoys eating, sleeping, reading, swimming, and playing piano, traveling, watching movies, drinking milk tea, and spending time with her friends and family. She likes to bake foods, even if she isn't very good at it. She is also not part of her school's marching band, but still enjoys participating in TBC parades! If she had one superpower, it would be to control time because she would be able to go back and fix any of her mistakes. She would also be able to go to the future and see what the world is like.

Soumya Rai

Chief of Staff

Soumya Rai is a junior at Washington High School. She has been playing clarinet since 6th grade and has been a part of TBC for 4 years. Some of her hobbies include reading books, painting, dancing, going horseback riding, and playing the clarinet. Soumya volunteers at the Fremont Main Library and participates in art competitions. Her favorite movie is the Greatest Showman, and her favorite place to visit is the Oceanside City Beach. Soumya would want to have the power of superspeed. She thinks it would be really cool to be able to see the world without spending a lot of time traveling from place to place.

Vivian Lam

Cadet Regiment Director

Vivian Lam is a senior at Mission San Jose High School. Vivian joined guard in 7th grade. This year will be her sixth year in TBC. She enjoys practicing her calligraphy on her instagram account, and writing cards for a non-profit. She also enjoys skateboarding, which she has done since last year. An interesting fact about Vivian is that she enjoys watching kdramas! She also knows Burmese (which is a language that not a lot people know). If Vivian could have one superpower, she would pick stopping time. Because of her irregular sleep schedule, she would pick this superpower to catch up on her sleep, and so she could also have more time to study for her tests.

Angeline Liu

Director of Elementary Programs

Angeline Liu is a senior at Irvington High. She played percussion for 10 years, since kindergarten, and then joined color guard in her sophomore year. Angeline has been a part of TBC for 5 years. Angeline bakes desserts about 3 times every week! You can see some of her baking creations on subtle asian cooking or her Instagram account. She also likes to draw, make polymer clay charms and diy jewelry, and do Chloe Ting workouts with her family. Angeline watched all of ATLA in two days. Her favorite characters in the show are Zuko and Iroh. If Angeline could have one superpower, it would probably be to slow down time so that she can sleep more or so she could have time to finish an assignment.

Jessica Mason

Director of Elementary Programs

Jessica Mason is a junior at Irvington High School. Jessica's been playing the clarinet since 6th grade. Since then, she's gone on to love music and has participated in a wide array of bands. Jessica has been an officer for TBC since January of 2020. She likes building in Minecraft while listening to podcasts, baking matcha desserts, playing with her dog. She recently developed a strong interest in graphic design. Some fun facts about her are that she skipped a grade, rewatches ATLA, buys way too much washi tape, and despises math. Her life goal is to become a mystical sheepherder in the Swiss Alps, or, somewhat less realistically, an English teacher in Tokyo. If Jessica could have one superpower, it would be to transform into a goose whenever she eats bread. As a goose she could annoy everyone during marching band practice by waddling in front of them and honking really loudly.

Music Department

Harshini Karthikeyan

Chief Musical Director

Harshini Karthikeyan is a junior at American High School and started playing clarinet since 2013. She joined TBC 5 months ago. She likes dancing and reading books in her spare time. In addition, she likes to workout, and on occasion, she'll participate in workout challenges for fun. She likes to cover kpop dances sometimes, too. Her favorite books are ones that analyze the flaws in society. One fun fact is that her favorite fruit is grapes and can literally eat grapes ALL DAY without getting sick of them. Besides that, she also likes to eat bananas, oranges, and strawberries to avoid eating junk food. If Harshini could have a superpower, she would want the power to read other people’s minds at will so that she could know what other people think of her. She thinks reading others’ minds can also be fun if people are gossiping (so she can be filled in on all the tea!)

Cameron Tran

Deputy Chief Musical Director - Visuals

Cameron Tran is a sophomore at Irvington High School. Cameron started playing saxophone in 2014 when he was in fourth grade. He's been an officer with TBC for one year. His hobbies include drawing, painting, and sleeping. He enjoys sleeping a lot and it's his favorite pastime. For drawing and painting, his preferred medium of art is watercolor, but he's having a lot of fun with colored pencils as well. Fun fact: his favorite Ghibli movie is Princess Mononoke. He really enjoys the art, music, and plot of it. Another fun fact is that he's been with TBC since 6th grade but hasn't been an officer until last year. If he could have one superpower, it would be the ability to look into every outcome of an action. He thinks it would be cool to have this ability because it's almost like future vision, but it could also help with planning events.

Sydney Bailey

Color Guard Captain

Sydney Bailey is a junior at Mission San Jose High School. She joined guard freshman year, and has been a member for two years.Sydney has been a part of TBC for about 2 years now. Sydney spends a lot of time on colorguard. She also enjoy painting, and drawing, and recently started to try digital art which she finds fun. Sydney also spends a lot of time watching Netflix and Disney movies. She knows every word to every song in High School Musical. She is also Canadian, people often find that pretty interesting. Sydney would like be telekinetic because she would like to be able to summon things without moving. She thinks it could come in handy if she dropped the remote, or wanted a snack while watching Netflix. Sydney also feels like it could help with colorguard, because then she would never drop her equipment.

Feliza Alipio Jocson

Senior Asst. Color Guard Captain - Rifles

Feliza Alipio Jocson is a senior at American High School. She started playing clarinet in 6th grade and still plays it in AHS’s symphonic band, but she joined winter guard her freshman year and has been in it since. This will be her first year in TBC, and she looks forward to being a part of this amazing community! Other than playing clarinet and spinning rifle, Feliza enjoys painting, baking, and learning new things. Outside of marching band, she loves to be outdoors hiking or driving around town with friends. A fun fact about Feliza is that she prefers watching older television shows and movies and listening to older music! Marvel is cool and all, but have you ever seen The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air or listened to Bill Withers? If Feliza could have any superpower, she would want super speed. With so much work to do and shows to binge watch in today’s world, time is of the essence! With super speed, she would be able to accomplish more and spend more time with friends.

Lilian Tjioe

Asst. Color Guard Captain - Flags

Lilian Tjioe (who mostly goes by Lily) is a junior at American High. She started winter guard her freshmen year at American High School and made the rewarding decision to join color guard parade during the fall season. Lily has been with TBC for about one month. Most of Lily’s hobbies surround art and creativity. She enjoys drawing, painting, and especially makeup because there are no boundaries to what she can create. Lily also recently got into biking around Fremont with her friends to get lost and discover new places. One fun fact about Lily is that she’s had a serious boba addiction since she was very young. If Lily could have one superpower, she would want the ability to turn into other people whenever she wanted. She’s always wanted to know what it would be like to take a break from being herself, and to be someone else for a day. This superpower would also be useful for getting multiple free samples without the shame!

Jacob Nater

Drum Captain

Jacob Nater is a senior at Cupertino High School. He started playing percussion since freshman year of high school. He has just joined TBC this year. Jacob enjoys practicing to prepare for future drum corps auditions, and he is also starting to learn guitar, which is something he used to be able to play but has since lost the ability to do. Learning guitar also has opened him up to the world of music theory. Jacob is a huge DCI (Drum Corps International) nerd. His favorite corps right now are Carolina Crown and The Blue Devils, and his favorite shows include Crown 19, BD 17, Crown 16, Crown 17, and Phantom 03. If Jacob had a superpower, he would choose to be able to teleport to anywhere. This would make traveling to see family or traveling to work super easy. This power could also be utilized to do everyday things like pick up groceries or meet with friends.

Jessica Solorio

Asst. Drum Captain

Jessica Solorio is a junior at Cupertino High School. She started playing percussion last year. This is her first year in TBC. Besides band, she really enjoys baking. One time, she stayed up until 2am after rehearsal to bake banana bread and cupcakes for her friends the next day. Other hobbies she has are rollerskating and embroidery. She has read her favorite book (Perks of being a Walflower) four times. She usually doesn't reread books unless she truly enjoys it. She can also bake really good banana bread. She would want to be able to live as somebody else for a day. She feels like it'd be really cool. Plus if there's someone's skills she admires a lot, she'd want to know what it feels like to be at such a high level.

Emily Shu

Deputy Chief Musical Director - Cadets

Emily is a freshman at Irvington High School. She played the trumpet since 5th grade. This is her second year with TBC. Most of her hobbies are extracurriculars, such as playing trumpet and piano, or going to swim team and participating in meets, etc. A hobby of hers would probably be watching anime or reading manga, and baking or cooking occasionally. She doesn't really think she knows any fun facts about herself, all she can say is that she likes anime and manga, so if you want to, feel free to talk to her about any. A superpower I would want would probably be gravity manipulation. I know it's not really that commonly said, but a favorite character of mine has it and makes it seem really useful, since he can manipulate the gravity of anything he touches or of himself, ex. being able to walk on ceilings or controlling bullets so that they don't shoot him (its a bit hard to explain though, sorry about that).

James Liu

Deputy Chief Musical Director - Music

James Liu is a junior at American High. He has been playing alto the saxophone for 6 years. This will be James's first year at TBC. James's hobbies include playing minecraft for hours on end, spinning his baton, building miniature plastic models, listening to music, playing his saxophone, cooking, and hanging out with his friends. A fun fact about James is that when he is stressed, he comsumes massive amounts of food and regrets it immediately after. If James could have one superpower, it would be the power to grant superpowers because he would be able to have as many superpowers as he wanted. He would also be able to grant superpowers to whoever he wants.

Sabrina Cheung

Chief Music Librarian

Sabrina Cheung is a freshman as James Logan High School. She started to play the bass clarinet when she was in 6th grade. This is her first year being with TBC. Some hobbies that she has is doing crafts, baking, and playing Minecraft. She loves playing Minecraft with her friends and trying to survive in survival world. She also likes to make slime. Sabrina and her friend even started a slime store and have sold a lot of slimes. A fun fact about her is that she has been doing gymnastics since she was four years old and competing since she was six. Also, her favorite candy is sour patch kids. If she could have one superpower, it would be to have super speed. Having super speed will allow her to get to places really fast. Also, then she would not be late to anything. She could also go anywhere in the world and would be able to explore new places.

Ryan Dai

Woodwind Section Leader

Ryan Dai is a sophomore at Irvington High School. He started clarinet in 4th grade, and has had 6 years of experience. This is his first year as a TBC member. He enjoys reading, preferring fiction over nonfiction. He has an interest in military history, likes to play the clarinet, and he does a bit of computer programming (although he isn't particularly good at it). His favorite book series would probably be A Song of Ice and Fire. A fun fact about him is that he is a human who plays the plays clarinet. He lives under a rock and doesn't know anything about what's "cool" or whatever these days.If he could have one superpower, it would be the power to have all the other powers. Other than that, it would be time manipulation, as it gets rid of time as a concern in life and allows for pseudo-teleportation.

Supply Department

Maggie Lai

Chief Supply Officer

Maggie Lai is a senior at Mission San Jose High School. Maggie began playing cymbals in TBC in the fall of her freshman year of high school. Maggie's favorite hobbies include watching cookie-cutter Netflix teen dramas for the fun of it, sleeping, online shopping, dancing, swimming, writing, cooking, and eating. She also volunteers a lot, whether it be spending time with special needs kids or tutoring math and English. She has a dog and a cat who don't get along. She loves listening to music and binge-watching shows and movies and spends way too much time on TikTok. If Maggie could have a superpower, she would choose to be invisible because she could then eavesdrop on people's conversations and get juicy tea. She could also sneak into any place she wants, "haunt" people, and win every game of hide-and-seek.

Angelica Wang

Deputy Chief Supply Officer - Uniforms

Angelica Wang is a sophomore at Monta Vista High School. Angelica first started playing music in second grade with the erhu. Angelica has been a part of TBC for one year. Angelica’s hobbies include reading, writing, and doodling uwu’s. Angelica’s favorite things include marching band, color guard, and sleep. Tardigrades are great, and so are potatoes, science, and staying up really late. Fun fact: Angelica is not a fun person. Patience is a really nice quality to have, so if she could have it, Angelica would want to have the ability to be extraordinarily patient with everyone. Getting triggered because a band piece is impossibly hard to play? Patience. Getting even more triggered because 45 tosses have taken Angelica more than a year to learn? Patience. Accidentally misplaced an entire box of insignias and ribbons? Patience. It conquers lots of problems when combined with persistence, and the best part of this superpower is that it isn’t unachievable.

Ambareesh Shyam Sundal

Deputy Chief Supply Officer - Equipment

Ambareesh Shyam Sundal is a sophomore at Irvington High School. He started playing flute in 5th grade band, but he switched to french horn in 7th grade. He's been a part of TBC for 2 years. He enjoys doing competitive math, as well as reading and listening to music. When he's bored, he often practices french horn. He is part of Irvington's Quiz Bowl club, so he enjoys learning random facts about random topics. He holds the (seemingly unpopular) opinion that To Kill a Mockingbird is a good book. He also thinks classical music is superior to all other types of music. If he could have one superpower, it would be the ability to function without sleep, since he could get a lot more work done and maximize his productivity instead of having to waste time resting in order to bring his body back to a level of optimal performance.

Ethan Huang

Deputy Chief Supply Officer - General Supplies

Ethan Huang is a junior at Mission San Jose High School. He started playing clarinet in 4th grade. He's been part of TBC for 4 years. Some of Ethan's hobbies include swimming and biking. He's been swimming for 6 years in his school's swim team and in Mission San Jose Aquatics. He also enjoys biking around Quarry Lakes and along the Alameda Creek. Ethan enjoys photography. He will often take a lot of photos of wildlife or landscapes while on vacation, especially when he's hiking. If it looks cool, he will stop and take a picture of it. If Ethan had one superpower, it would probably be the ability to stop or slow time. This would allow him to be super productive because he often procrastinates and has to do everything the last minute.

Jasmine Fan

Supply Officer

Jasmine Fan is an 8th grader at Thornton Junior High. She started playing the piano when she was in kindergarten. She has been in TBC for 8 months. Some of her hobbies include playing video games, annoying people on Roblox, drawing, and maybe baking once in a while and she dont know what else honestly. Maybe reading webtoons because she reads them like 30 minutes each day. A fun fact about her is that she is really good at drawing. She also loves this movie called Bento Harassment. She also really likes the hunger games and battle royale, the movie. If she could have one superpower, it would be to freeze time or fly because when she freezes time, she can steal stuff like food or maybe annoy people. She can also do bad things without being caught easily. She would also choose flying because She hates airplanes and she thinks it would be a cool experience.

Vishnu Nair

Supply Officer

Vishnu Nair is a sophomore at Mission San Jose High School. He started playing trumpet in 5th grade. He joined TBC in 9th grade. As of 2020, he has been practicing Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, and stick defenses for seven years. He has been dancing since sixth grade and is currently on the Mission's dance team, Ishaara. Outside school, he dances, with Mona Khan Master class. He is also a competitive swimmer in both the MSJA swim team and the Mission San Jose High School swim team. He can understand and speak 4 languages as of now and is always trying to learn more. Another fun fact about him is that at the age of six, he got lost in the Pacific Ocean, while snorkeling with his family. If Vishnu could could choose any one superpower, it would surely be the power to travel in time. Who would not want control over the fourth dimension; to right the past or to prepare for the future?

Elton Yu

Supply Officer

Elton Yu is a freshman at Mission San Jose High School. He started playing his instrument when he was 6, then quit for two years, then started playing it again when he was 10. He now plays percussion. This is his first year in TBC. Some of his hobbies are biking around his neighborhood or playing with his dog in his backyard. He also likes to watch Criminal Minds on Netflix with his sister, because she is too scared to watch it herself. Some fun facts about him is that he just started playing tennis this year, and that he recently got a dog. His dog is a light brown and white corgi named Kobe.If he had one superpower, he would want it to be super speed. Being able to do things really fast will free up hours of time to relax. He would also never be late by running to places instead of riding a car.

Harry Wu

Supply Officer

Harry Wu is a sophomore at Irvington High School. He started percussion at Umusic in 2011 and clarinet at Warm Springs in 2014. This will be Harry's first full year in TBC. In his spare time, Harry enjoys reading books, especially Agatha Christie novels, with one of his favorites being "Murder on the Orient Express". He also enjoys playing percussion as well as learning other instruments, including violin and flute. Harry's favorite movies are rather old ones- "Casablanca" (1942) and "A Night to Remember" (1958). He enjoys reading about different American presidents and has even written a letter to one (James E. Carter), even receiving a reply! If Harry could have one superpower, he would want to be able to time travel (but not change anything). History is his favorite subject in school and he definitely would want to see it in action!

Rikhil Seth

Supply Officer

Rikhil started playing saxophone in 5th grade (4 years). This is his first year in TBC. He has many hobbies, which include running and playing the saxophone. Rikhil tries to do both of these hobbies at least 30 minutes a day as he wants get better and hopes to join more advanced groups in the future. In his free time, Rikhil likes to swim and read. He is a second degree black belt (which took a dedicated 5 years of taekwondo to accomplish) and he can solve Rubik's cubes in under 20 seconds. If Rikhil could have one superpower, he would probably choose super speed. This would allow him to save people and stop criminals in a matter of seconds. Also, he would never run into the problem of being late, whether that's turning in his homework or reaching somewhere before a certain time.

Henry Wang

Supply Officer

Henry will be playing an instrument for the first time except from when he had piano lessons when he was 4 or 5. This is Henry's first year in TBC. A hobby that Henry has is golfing. He started golfing since he was very young and he has been playing it ever since he joined the varsity golf team at Foothill High School in his freshman year. Another hobby Henry has is cooking. When he was young, he would always help out his mom when she cooked and it has been an interest of his till this day. Not many people notice this about Henry, but he writes with his left hand but plays sports with his right hand. He also sneezes when he looks at the sun and this made it very hard to take photos facing the sun. If Henry had one superpower, it would be teleportation. With teleportation, Henry can travel anywhere he wants to in an instant. He won’t have to waste anytime time or money on transportation. Henry can teleport to his house, school, and anywhere he needs to be. This would be extremely useful for him and he would have a lot of fun using this power too.

Technology Department

Akshitha Nagaraj

Chief Technology Officer - Salesforce

Akshita Nagaraj is a junior at Mission San Jose High School. She joined color guard in tenth grade and has loved it ever since. She also became a part of the TBC family in her sophomore year, and looks forward to working with everyone! She likes to listen to music in her free time, particularly rock or pop artists. She also enjoys drawing, reading fiction books, and researching subjects she finds interesting. A fun fact about her is that she can speak 3 different languages: English, Tamil, and French. If she had a superpower, it would be to control time. This way, she would be able to have all the time to do whatever she wants. She could sleep as long as she wants to, complete all of her homework, and take as much time as she wants to relax.

Charita Gangi

Chief Membership Officer

Charitha Gangi is a junior at American High. She joined guard in her sophomore year but she's partaken in two guard seasons. This is actually her first year being a part of TBC and she is ecstatic to see how it goes. Alongside being part of guard, she enjoys playing soccer, reading, and watching TV. She has been playing soccer since a very young age, so it’s a sport that she has grown to love. Although she watches a lot of movies and shows in general, she has grown to like anime a lot these days! Some day in the future, she hopes to climb all 8 summits around the world! If she were able to inherit any superpower, she would definitely want the ability to teleport because it would make transportation much more efficient.

Aarav Sharma

Deputy Chief Technology Officer

Aarav Sharma is a junior at Mission San Jose High School. He has been playing flute for six years and started when he was in 4th grade. This is Aarav's first year in TBC. Outside of TBC, Aarav is part of a robotics team and a swim team. He enjoys playing basketball with his friends. In his free time, he likes to listen to music, play video games, and watch Youtube. His favorite movies include Avengers, Back to the Future, and Jumanji. He also enjoys watching conspiracy theory shows on Netflix. He loves to travel outside the United States and visit various places throughout the world. One superpower that he would like to have is time control. He wants this superpower because he would be able to pause to have extra time on something, go back to erase mistakes, and fast forward to see the future.

Jessie Huang

Technology Officer

Jessie Huang is a sophomore at Mission San Jose High School. She started playing flute in June 2019 and just joined TBC this year. Some hobbies that she enjoys are playing piano and solving a rubik's cube. She also enjoys reading science fiction and mystery books. Jessie has been to Hawaii three times before, twice to Oahu and once to Maui. She enjoys seeing the beautiful sight there. If she had a superpower, it would be remembering things by just looking at it once. This way, she will be able to remember anything she needs to and can save lots of time doing other interesting things instead.

Pranshu Agnihotri

Technology Officer

Pranshu Agnihotri is a freshman at Irvington High School. He started playing his instrument (Trumpet) since 3rd Grade and fell in love. This is his first year in TBC. His hobbies include solving the Rubik's cube as fast as he can, playing the trumpet, playing video games with his friends, 3D modeling things in CAD, and 3D printing the models that he creates in real life. An interesting fact about him is that he can solve a Rubik's cube in under 30 seconds. His favorite movie would have to be a tie between Real Steel and Edge of Tomorrow. If he could have a superpower, it would be the power to control chance, because then he can make things happen in his favor. For example, he could say "There's a 100% chance I will go back in time to (this specific time)" or "There's a 100% chance I will learn to fly today" and he could basically do anything he wants.

Ryan Chan

Chief Marketing Officer

Ryan Chan is a junior at Mission San Jose High School. He started color guard at the during the summer of 2017, participating in the Cadet Regiment as one of the four color guard members. He has been a part of TBC for more than 4 years. During his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball, serving in his boy scout troop, traveling, and hanging out with friends. A fun fact about him is that his craziest injury happened when speeding around an ice rink. He dislocated his left collarbone, and after a few months, the bone completely tore off when he did a backflip. If he had one superpower, it'll be to produce anything by thinking of it. Then he would be able to simplify his life. Losing items wouldn't be a hassle as he would be able to produce an identical copy simply through thinking.

Aparna Singh

Deputy Chief Marketing Officer

Aparna Singh is a senior at Mission San Jose High School. She started playing her instrument in sixth grade and has been playing ever since. This will be her second year as a TBC officer and member. Aparna likes to paint and draw in her free time, and has an bullet journal instagram account. In addition, she loves being a Girl Scout and has been one for almost nine years now. She was born in New York and moved to California. She has recently started reading again (after AR) and has read a lot of books this summer. If she could have any one superpower, she would choose the power of controlling time (being able to freeze or slow time). She thinks this would be useful since she often finds herself wishing she had more time to do some of her hobbies or spend more time with her friends. With this power, she would be able to do so easily.

Anushka Peer

Marketing Officer

Anushka Peer has been playing the flute since 4th grade. This is her first year in TBC. She enjoys reading dystopian books when she is indoors. She also likes art, especially calligraphy, painting, and sketching. When she's outdoors, she likes to go hiking or running. Anushka also loves practicing the flute because she is able to learn new pieces with her bandmates and form flute quartets. Anushka loves to travel and go sightseeing out of the city every now and then. One thing on her bucket list is to go bungee jumping or paragliding since it is one of the biggest fears that she wants to conquer. If she could have any superpower, it would be super speed. That way, Anushka could easily travel to Rome or Italy without having to spend months buying plane tickets and packing. She would also never be late to anything, which would save a lot of time.

Clement Wu

Chief Engineering Officer

Clement Wu is a junior at Mission San Jose High School. He started playing the Alto Saxophone as a 7th grader in Hopkins Junior High School. He was a cadet in the TBC Summer Program and has been a part of TBC for a little over a year. In his spare time, he likes to read, play sports, and indulge in Youtube. He also loves to volunteer, earning the Gold President Award in 2019 and has a total of 550+ hours verified by the Scouting Association of America.
