Rinku Bhadra
My son, Shubham Bhadra, is a current member of Tri-City Band Corps. I was really happy when he first asked me if he could join this program. I’ve always wanted Shubham to be a part of some kind of music program because I knew he had a passion for music. As a mother, I always try to find opportunities to help my child grow, and TBC seemed like the perfect fit. Encouraging Shubham to join as a teaching assistant is definitely one of the best decisions I have made. When Shubham first joined, he told me how it was difficult to teach so many young children, but over time, Shubham said he started enjoying the experience. After Shubham became the Wind section leader, he had many other responsibilities. I have to admit that I was nervous about whether he would be able to manage his schoolwork along with his duties as an officer. Even though Shubham had to face some difficulties, he was able to finish his tasks. I personally think that Shubham was able to grow more responsible and dedicated because of TBC. Also, TBC's different parades and events helped Shubham make new friends. As a mother, I am proud to see Shubham receive so many opportunities and experiences that helped him grow as a person. I would recommend TBC to any parent looking for a program to develop their time management, leadership, and social skills.
