Music Department

The Music Department takes care of the artistic aspects of TBC's performances. It has three main tasks: running rehearsals, choosing music to play, and maintaining the music library. With maintaining the music library and choosing performance repertoire comes preparing music for parades and storing crates of music. Leading rehearsals is the most important job of Music, as TBC members often approach the Chief Musical Director or Guard and Drum Captains first if they have questions. For this reason, former CEO Sara Tsai said that the Chief Musical Director is the "face of the group."

Supply Department

Click to learn more!

The Supply Department is in charge of all the necessary equipment that TBC owns. The department deals with 150+ uniforms, repairing ones that are damaged, and taking stock of the current number of uniform parts when necessary. The department is also responsible for buying new uniform parts when needed and planning uniform distribution/collection logistics during each parade season. They also manage the percussion equipment that TBC owns; they are in charge of storing/maintaining percussion and ordering replacement parts. During parade season, this department is vital in the transportation of equipment to rehearsals and parades.

Technology Department

The Technology Department is in charge of managing the website, app, social media posts, Salesforce, and marketing flyers. The department is responsible for keeping the website up to date and posting on social media weekly. It is also in charge of updating Salesforce with member information and sending out mass emails. The marketing is in charge of creating flyers for advertising our events or programs. In short, it is responsible for all technological aspects of the group.

Operations Department

The Operations Department takes care of managing recruitment, officer bondings, and regulating officer benefits, health, and safety. The department is also responsible for planning bonding events, organizing carpools and buses for performances, registering for parades, and managing service hours. Recruiting members is an important job of the Operations department, as it is how the organization grows. In addition, it is also responsible for sending out quarterly newsletters to keep members updated about TBC's recent activities.

Finance Department

Click to learn more!

The Finance Department, as the title suggests, takes charge of all financial aspects of TBC, focusing mainly on small-scale fundraisers, large-scale events and feeds, and applying for grants. Our goal is to ensure that TBC is on stable financial ground. To accomplish this, we set up many restaurant fundraisers and run our large events (most notably, Festival of Arts and Pasta Feed). Long story short, we’re the ones planning and executing each of these events--almost impossible, but at the same time quite rewarding!

Her dream place to live would be Hawaii because she went there for vacation once and it was nice and tropical. She also loves summer, especially going to the beach and hiking, which Hawaii is known for. She enjoys standing in the rain or just watching it. There the weather is either hot or rainy most of the time, which would be a good fit for her. Overall, Hawaii satisfies her interests and fits her personality, hence making it her dream place to live in. If she was a time traveler she would want to visit the future. Specifically she would want to visit the 3000s, as she would not be alive to see it, so it would be a cool experience to see what cool new inventions and devices would be made. She would also want to see how lifestyle would change and what would remain the same. However, if she could visit a time period where she could see herself, she would visit the 2040s to see what kind of job she does, what college she attends, and how life would be for her in general. In conclusion, she would visit either the 3000s to see what kind of new inventions would be made or visit the 2040s to see how her life would be like in the future. If she could speak an animal language she would choose cat because she has a pet cat and this could allow her to understand her cat better. She also thinks it would help bond her and her cat and whenever she would be bored she could chat with her cat. Her cat is very noisy as well and always keeps meowing, but she can never understand what it wants, so this would allow her to understand and be able to meet its wants. However, if birds count as an animal species she would talk to them, as they are always chirping and I've always been curious on what they were saying. Her neighbor also has pet birds, so she could tell her what it's telling her as well. So, if birds count as an animal species she would talk to them, else she would talk to cats, so she could talk to her pet cat.

His dream place to live would be a coastal town with mild weather, close to both the ocean and the mountains. He loves being near water for its calm, and the mountains for adventure and fresh air. A small community with clean air, open skies, and quiet mornings would be perfect. He imagines waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunset every evening. Nature helps him relax and focus, making it the ideal place to recharge and reflect. He values peace, beauty, and a slower pace of life over noise and city rush. He would travel to the future and visit the 2300s. He's always been curious about how far humanity will go—how science, medicine, and technology will evolve, and whether we've colonized other planets or cured diseases. Seeing the future could give him hope, inspiration, and maybe even answers to the world's biggest questions. Will artificial intelligence help or hurt society? Will humans live longer, happier lives? He would love to witness how people live, learn, and interact centuries from now. The future feels like a story still being written, and he wants to turn the pages ahead. He would choose to speak the language of dogs. Dogs are loyal, expressive, and often feel like family, but we never really know what they're thinking. He'd love to understand what makes them happy, scared, or excited. Talking to dogs could help train them better, improve their care, and build stronger bonds. He wonders if they dream, what they think of their humans, or how they feel when they're left alone. Being able to have real conversations with dogs would bring so much joy, laughter, and deeper connection—plus, it would make playing games a lot more fun.
