Quarter 1 Newsletter

2024-2025

Hello, TBC Members! This issue of our newsletter wraps up this past quarter and introduces our upcoming events. We would like to thank all of our wonderful members and parents for their participation and tremendous support towards our organization.

Fall Parade Registration

We are happy to announce that Royals Fall Parade sign-ups are now open! Royals are for current or graduated high schoolers. We hope you can join us for the Niles Festival of Lights Parade (11/29), the Hollister Lights on Parade (11/30), and the Pleasanton Holiday Parade (12/7). This is a great opportunity to hang out with friends, earn service awards, and share your love for music one step at a time.

Fall Pasta Feed

This year, TBC will once again hold our Fall Pasta Feed on Sunday, November 24, from 5 to 9 PM. We will offer pasta, deserts, boba, and more, so make sure to buy a ticket! Tickets and more information for East Bay can be found here. South Bay will be holding it’s Fall Pasta Feed on December 14th. Tickets and more information can be found here! This event helps us fund our various music programs throughout the year, buy new equipment, pay for transportation, and much more!

Hastati Regiment

TBC’s Elementary Band Program has started! Our Summer 2024 Elementary Band Concert occurred on July 28, and we were very impressed with the performances coming from all groups. Our Elementary Band will be performing at the Niles Festival of Lights Parade on November 29th and we hope you can come to cheer us on! As the year progresses, we cannot wait to see the progress our students will make. Registration for this school year is still open! Register here. More information about our program can be found on our website here.

Cadet Regiment

The Cadet Regiment program is our award-winning middle school marching band program. They recently competed at the Newark Days Parade. The Cadet Regiment will also be performing at the Niles Festival of Lights and the Pleasanton Holiday Parade during the fall. This year, the Cadet Regiment program will be continuing into the spring! They will be performing at the SF Chinese New Year Parade, Dublin St. Patrick's Day Parade, and NCBA Livingston Band Review during the spring. Cadet Regiment will also have the opportunity to go to Disneyland this year! Registration for this school year is still open! Register here.

Winter Percussion

TBC’s winter percussion unit, Tri-City Percussion, is a WGI Independent Open Class percussion unit that will compete in events such as WGI Union City and NCPA Logan. This group of percussionists is taught by some of the top DCI techs and instructors. More information about the program can be found on our website here.

Imperialis Winter Guard

In this upcoming season, Imperialis Winter Guard will be competing in California Color Guard Circuit (CCGC) and returning to the World Guard International (WGI) by attending a WGI Regional Competition! More information about the program can be found on our website here.

SNP TA Registration

Teaching assistant registration for SNP is now open! No experience is needed in percussion, just have the passion and enthusiasm for music and attend the TA training. Sign up here to give back to your community and earn service hours while spreading the love of music.

Fremont Festival of Arts Fundraiser

On August 3rd and 4th, Tri-City Band Corps hosted a booth at the annual Fremont Festival of Arts. We sold snow cones with a variety of flavor choices and are glad to see many people supporting our programs! Thank you for your support! Hope to see you there next year!
