When I first learned about TBC, I was awestruck to know that the organization was entirely managed and run by high school students. This excited me to introduce TBC to my daughter, Sanchana. From the very beginning of her joining as a TBC officer, it has been a very rewarding experience for her. She thoroughly enjoys her role as an officer and a TBC member. By joining this single organization, she gets to perform in parades, work as a TA, gaining volunteer hours, and experience a mini version of work life at this young age. This has greatly honed her communication, leadership, and time management skills. TBC has taught her how to stay committed and overcome setbacks. It has taught her that she can forge ahead if she puts in effort, and can go down the ladder if she slacks off. While she is still at the learning stage, I am positive that she will definitely get better as a person as she takes up new roles and responsibilities at TBC. With its plethora of opportunities, TBC can be an enriching experience for any high schooler.
