2019 - 2020 Supply Officer

After my 8th grade year ended, my parents encouraged me to sign up for TBC and it felt uneasy at first to participate in an organization with tasks. Although I was uncertain to join TBC, I joined TBC to experience what was the experience as a TBC officer. On my first meeting, I screwed up and sat with the wrong group of officers during the TBC meeting. Everything was awkward at first because I tended to be shy and uneasy to experience how jobs are like in the real world. As time progressed, TBC wasn’t just a place to fulfill tasks assigned from super officials, but to also meet new people. Despite my lack of courage to embrace in activities, I gained courage to talk with different people with different personalities. As seemingly as it seems, the officers of TBC were polite and helped one another as we faced difficulties. During the pandemic, my courage went down and my inactivity in the organization decreased. As a result, I carried a seemingly impossible challenge to complete unfinished tasks. Despite this burden, TBC served as a great learning place to learn from mistakes and to share mistakes with others failing in cooperation. Throughout the hardships in TBC and joy, it was a wonderful moment to improve my social skills and learn from failures.
Although my year may have been short, TBC serves as a place in heart to accept failures and move on from mistakes. I would definitely recommend TBC as a starting place to experience what working in an organization is like because there are many activities to do and it's a fun experience to march along with friends.
