Hastati Regiment
(Elementary Band)


Rising Grades 4+


Our Hastati Regiment is our beginning, intermediate, and advanced elementary band program. No previous experience is required to join. Students will participate in weekly sectionals, play in full ensemble rehearsals, and complete SmartMusic homework, culminating in an end-of-summer concert in July 2024.


Cadet Regiment
(Middle School Guard & Marching Band)


Rising Grades 6-9


Our Cadet Regiment is our middle school marching band. Musicians must have completed our Advanced Level Hastati class or have about 2 years of instrument experience elsewhere. Color guard members may join with no previous experience. This program is designed to teach students how to perform while marching in preparation for high school marching band.


Royal Regiment
(High School Guard & Marching Band)


Rising Grades 10+


The Royal Regiment started TBC 20 years ago. This group is for current high school and older students who can play and march. We hold just 4 rehearsals for each performance. Members can earn community service hours performing for the community.


Elementary Band & Cadet TA


Grades 9+


This is a great way to give back to your community, keep music education going, and train future members of your school programs. Our Hastati and Cadet Regiments could not have achieved the same without our wonderful student volunteers. Volunteers can earn community service hours for their time as well.


Summer Clinics


Grades 9+


Our clinics are for color guard, percussion, and drum majors. Work with all of our instructors from across all of Tri-City's programs to experience competitive independent auditions and work with Open and World class WGI and DCI instructors and performers. Drum Major coaches are competitive champions from multiple circuits or World class DCI units with decades of experience.

Hastati Regiment (Sep-May)
(Elementary Band)


Grades 4+

Drum Major
(Dec-May)


Grades 7+


Tri-City Band Corps has a long and proud history of supporting Drum Majors by providing free clinics and weekly training throughout the competitive seasons. More drum majors have led their first parade with us than any other school in the Bay Area. Our instructors include former champions and drum major adjudicators.


Tri-City Percussion (Nov-Apr)
(Independent Winter Drumline)


Grades 9+


Tri-City Percussion (TCP) is TBC’s competitive winter percussion program. We employ world-class percussion instructors who have experience in WGI or DCI.


Imperialis (Dec-Apr)
(INA Winter Guard)


Grades 9+


Tri-City Winter Guard is a competitive independent winter guard program. Our members include students from all over the Bay Area and have consistently been CCGC champions since our inception back in 2017.


Immortalis (Dec-Apr)
(IRA Winter Guard)


Grades 5+


Our Immortalis program is a beginning color guard program. Students will learn the fundamentals of dance, choreography, and spinning through weekly lessons with our coaches. Students perform at a series of CCGC competitions throughout the winter season. No prior experience is necessary.


Special Needs Percussion
(Dec-Apr)


Grades 9+


The Special Needs Percussion Regiment is a percussion regiment that aims to give students with special needs the chance to experience music. The instrumentation is the same as the Tri-City Percussion regiment. SNP also enlists the help of many volunteer TAs.
