Prisha has been with TBC since 2018, when we enrolled her in the Hastati Regiment as a fourth grader eager to learn the oboe. From the beginning, she was passionate about music, and TBC provided a structured environment where she could develop her skills while learning discipline and consistency. As she progressed through the Hastati and Cadet Regiments, I saw her become more confident and self-directed, taking ownership of her growth and responsibilities. Her transition into a Teaching Assistant role marked a clear shift in her leadership abilities, as she learned how to plan ahead, manage her time, and support younger students effectively. Through these experiences, TBC helped her develop strong organizational skills and a sense of accountability, as she was expected to follow through on commitments and lead by example. Over the years, I’ve seen her become more thoughtful and intentional in how she approaches her challenges, especially when coordinating rehearsals, events, and student needs all at once. Now, as the Executive Director of Elementary Programs, she demonstrates a high level of responsibility, balancing long-term planning with attention to detail and execution. TBC has played an essential role in teaching her real-world leadership skills that extend beyond music and will continue to benefit her in future academic and professional pursuits.
