Shubham Bhadra

I initially joined Tri-City Band Corps because my friend persuaded me to join him while teaching younger kids. Initially, I was quite skeptical about whether I would like it or not. However, the experience quickly grew on me. I started looking forward to teaching my students, however hard it was to deal with them. I have loved playing music since I was four years old, so I wanted to spread my passion to younger children. TBC was the perfect place for me to share my passion for music. I started as the Woodwind Section leader for the parades, which helped me develop better leadership qualities. Now, I decided to advance to the position of Senior Finance Officer. This journey has helped me in many ways, both professionally and personally. TBC has taught me valuable skills such as time management, understanding how professional spaces work, and the importance of effective communication and collaboration. I have also made many new friends while attending parades and other social events. Even though I initially struggled to keep up with all of the work I had, I was able to organize all of my tasks and complete them. TBC had a huge impact on me, and I want to make sure other students experience all the fun I had while in TBC. Thank you, TBC, for all the valuable lessons you taught me.
