Cadet Director
Irvington High School

I Joined TBC as an eighth grader in the cadet regiment, participating in my first few parades and learning marching basics through TBC. Due to the fun times, I had with my friends in the Cadet Regiment through my parades, I decided to pursue this section of volunteering, volunteering to be a TA throughout that school year. Throughout the school year, I have had many fun experiences teaching children how to properly march, teaching children music, and overall creating a positive environment for children to prosper in. Throughout my life, I have never seen a more dedicated staff than TBC, ensuring that all children are provided what they need without asking for anything in return. I have bonded with many new people through TBC, learning about their experiences and their life stories and ultimately growing as a musician by meeting them. TBC has shown me what it feels like to help others learn about music, giving me a passion for marching and giving me a community I can trust. Eventually, I became the South Bay Cadet Director, one of my best decisions. I was allowed to cooperate with children and teach others music and marching, allowing me to give back to the community. Through cooperating with the TBC Staff, I have provided many children a chance to march and participate in numerous parades. TBC has given me a chance to share my own passion of music into the world as well as guide others on their own paths.
