My daughter, Aesha Desai, has been a part of TBC for about four years. She initially joined TBC as a band member in the color guard, where she developed a strong passion for performing and being part of a team. Over time, as she became more confident and experienced, she wanted to give back to the organization that had given her so much. This led her to take on the role of a Teaching Assistant for color guard, where she enjoyed helping younger members learn new skills and improve their techniques. Through this role, Aesha learned how to be patient, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for guiding others. In January 2025, Aesha joined the TBC officer team as a Supply Officer, eager to challenge herself and take on more responsibility. She understood that this role required organization, accountability, and dedication. Through this position, she has learned valuable skills such as managing inventory, planning ahead for practices and events, and working closely with other officers to ensure everything runs smoothly. These experiences have helped her become more organized, dependable, and confident. I am extremely proud of Aesha’s growth throughout her time at TBC. The various opportunities and leadership roles have helped shape her into a responsible and motivated young adult. I’ve seen her confidence grow, along with her willingness to step up and contribute more actively to the organization. I am truly grateful to TBC for providing such a supportive environment that has allowed my daughter to grow, learn, and develop important life skills.
