Quarter 4 Newsletter
Greetings, TBC Members! This issue of our newsletter wraps up this past quarter and introduces our upcoming events. We would like to thank all of our wonderful members and parents for their participation and tremendous support towards our organization.
Hastati Regiment
Students in the school year program finished off with a concert on May 21st. They did a great job performing songs and were thrilled to be part of a great experience in TBC! Coming into 2023 summer, we had an amazing start with around 578 students in this program. As of now, students continue their hard work to learn new techniques and are preparing very well for our upcoming concert on July 29. We hope you can come support these hard-working students at their concert, which is at the Stratford campus in San Jose at 5:00pm! The registration for the school year Elementary program is planned to come out on July 15th. More information about registration is provided under the registration section.
Cadet Regiment
With around 100 students in the summer program, the Cadet Regiment is off to a great start. Currently, they have been working on different music pieces to prepare for their summer parades. Recently, they performed in Redwood City on July 4th. Their next performance will be on July 26th at the Santa Clara County Fair from 5:30 to 8:30pm. We hope you can come support our students. The registration for the school year Cadet program is planned to come out on July 15th so please be on the lookout for more information.
Upcoming Fundraisers
TBC will be hosting many exciting fundraisers in the coming months.
At our summer Elementary Band concert on July 29th, we will have food trucks available for attendees, so make sure to purchase something there to help support our Hastati programs.
On August 3rd, we will be hosting our ShareTea fundraiser from 4-7 pm. Show up and buy a drink to help us fundraise.
On August 5th and 6th, Fremont will be hosting its annual Festival of Arts and Wine where we will be selling snow cones!

Royal Regiment
The Royal Regiment has been working very hard for their upcoming performances. Their four rehearsals have produced outstanding performances. Their first parade this summer was on July 3rd at Benicia, and after that, they performed on July 4th in Fremont. These performances were enjoyed by thousands of spectators. Their next parade is on July 26th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Santa Clara County Fair. We encourage you to please come to their next parade and watch their performance!
Registration for School Year Hastati and Cadet Regiments
School year registration for Hastati and Cadet Regiment will open on July 15th. Here is some more information about the upcoming hastati school year program:

Starting: Sunday, September 10th, 2023
Ending: Sunday, May 26st, 2024
ALL classes are held on SUNDAYS
Cupertino (In-person):
Beginning Band: 3-5 pm
Intermediate Band: 3-5 pm
Note: The Cupertino schedule at this time may be subject to change
Fremont (In-person):
*Beginning Band: 2-4 PM OR 4-6 pm
Our beginning band will be divided into multiple groups to accommodate everyone
Intermediate Band: 2-4 pm
Advanced Band: 4-6 pm
Online:
Beginning: 3-4 pm
Intermediate: 4-5 pm
Advanced: 5-6 pm

TBC International Trip
Tri-City Band Corps is going on an international trip to perform in London's New Year Parade. This trip will take place from December 26, 2023 to January 4, 2024. Held annually on January 1st, this parade is the world's largest parade, with over 10,000 participants, 500,000 spectators, and 300 million global viewers. Not only will participants be in the parade but they will also have the opportunity to tour London, make new friends, and showcase their talent and leadership skills. Registration has closed for this trip. This is the first international trip in six years and likely the only one during our time. This trip is an amazing performance experience, a way to make lasting memories with friends, and great to showcase on future college applications. We hope you will join us!
