Hello all TBC Members and Parents! This issue wraps up our third quarter, in which we would like to thank all of our wonderful members and parents for their continuing support and participation.

TBC Italy Trip

Tri-City Band Corps is planning another international trip to Italy, in late December of 2017 through early January of 2018, and in partnership with KIConcerts, a team that focuses on international concert tours. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to perform in the Rome New Year’s Peace Parade, explore the Vatican Museums, and gain rich cultural insight with your friends! First Service Hour Distribution Day

On January 9th, Tri-City Band Corps had a fundraiser at OneTea in an effort to increase funds for our uniform supply and band instruments, among other items. Fall parade service hour forms were also distributed at this fundraiser. Be on the lookout for future opportunities, grab a friend, and come join us—we’d love to see you there!

Indoor Rehearsal

This quarter, we had two indoor rehearsals: January 24th and March 6th. During our routine indoor rehearsals, our group played a diverse array of arrangements (ranging from pop songs to classic marching pieces) to practice and improve our musical skills and coordination as a group.

Bubbly Kick-Off

Tri-City Band Corps hosted another OneTea (milk tea) fundraiser on March 25th. Members and friends kicked off their Spring Break at this board game night bonding event and raised about $100.

Cadet Regiment Program

Take the first step and join Tri-City Band Corps’ upcoming cadet regiment program! We will be forming a separate junior high unit to perform in some of the same parades as our high school team. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and prepare yourself for the high school music programs! Learn more information about rehearsals/performances and sign up before May 1st, 2016 here.

A Corps Program

Tri-City Band Corps is also launching a new A Corps program, which will be an elite, audition only TBC unit. This new group will hold more regular rehearsals and enter into competitions and performances both around the Bay Area and further away with overnight stays.
