Fou Saelee is involved in the open class guard ensemble as a tech coordinator. His experience as an instructor includes being the caption head of colorguard at Fairfield High School and Crystal Middle School, as well as being colorguard instructor at Armijo High School. His experience as performer includes being a part of In Motion, the Santa Clara Vanguard Winter Guard (World) in 2011, and being a Blue Devils A Corps Guard Member from 2009 to 2011.
Ben has been involved in the marching arts activity for eighteen years. His time as a member of the Benicia High School Panther Band sparked his love for band and colorguard, and he decided to pursue coaching colorguard after he graduated in 2005. Ben has been coaching, designing, and consulting for attention-grabbing, award-winning shows for numerous schools and independent programs for the last thirteen years. His instructing experience includes Benicia High School (2016-2018 NCBA parade, Open Winterguard), Fremont High School (2008-2013 WBA field, CCGC Open Winterguard), Vanden High School (2015) Archbishop Riordan High School Colorguard(2014-2015), Franklin HS (Elk Grove 2011-2012), John Swett High School (2005-2009), “…of essence” Independent A (2009-2010), and San Mateo High School (2005-2008). Ben has consulted and designed for over twenty other schools in addition to his coaching career. Ben’s performance experience includes Benicia High School, San Jose State University, San Jose Raiders, “…of essence” Winterguard, In Motion Performance Ensemble, and Infinitus Winterguard. He has danced at many community colleges and universities in Northern California.
Ben is incredibly excited about his start with the Eternal Regiment and his teaching style aims to build lifelong skills such as team work, self-confidence, time management, effective leadership, while inspiring students to fuel their passion for the arts.
Grantis Peranda grew up in Santa Cruz CA and participated in color guard since middle school. He has performed in many ensembles; most notably the Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets, Blue Knights, Madison Scouts, Blessed Sacrament, Onyx, Vanguard Winter Guard, and Imbue.
Grantis has much experience coaching guards across the country. He has choreographed, designed, and been a clinician for many groups. He is an adjudicator and enjoys providing feedback for aspiring teams.
Grantis obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Health Policy & Management with a minor in Dance from Providence College. He was a high school science teacher, but now works in IT at Santa Clara University where he is also pursuing his Master's in Business Administration.
