In the winter of 2015, TBC set out to London, England for their very first international performance. They participated in the 2016 London New Year’s Day Parade after being selected through video application. With around 50 members, friendships were forged, memories were created, and laughter was shared. Not only was this a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in TBC’s first international performance, but it was also a trip to remember.

The London trip was a really crazy and unique experience for me because it was the first time I'd ever left the country and quite possibly the longest time I've ever been away from my family. Throughout the trip I really got to know a lot of my peers and I made a lot of cool friends. I would definitely recommend going on this upcoming Italy trip because it is a once-in-a-lifetime type activity and it will be something to remember for years to come. Garret Mark
Unforgettable. If I had to choose one word to describe my London experience, it would be that. From touring all across London, visiting famous castles, eating authentic Fish & Chips, and even glimpsing at the Royal Crown Jewels, I was in complete awe at this worldly experience. And the last rush of adrenaline I got performing in the London's New Years Day Parade was one that crowned my drum major career. However, this trip also gave me the opportunity to not only bond closer with my current friends, but meet a lot of new people. These memories that we shared on the trip became many inside jokes that I still pull to this day. Edward Chen
The TBC International trips are a great way for individuals to expand their performance areas as well as experience different cultures. One thing that I thought was interesting from the London trip was that people out there thought marching bands were the coolest things purely because they didn't have a lot. You get see a lot of amazing sights, try different types of foods, and experience an entirely different part of the world. Jordan Spann
From all the laughter, tours across the beautiful city, and delicious food, memories and friendships were created. At first, I was a little unsure of whether to go on the London trip or not because I didn't know many people. However, when you sit on an airplane for 8 hours, cry during Les Miserables, and chatter your teeth from the cold with such an amazing group of people, bonds really form and everyone becomes your family. Performing in the London New Years Day Parade was a rare opportunity that I thought would never have the chance to experience again, that is, until I heard about TBC's upcoming trip to Italy!
